Community Project

October 15, 2026 - January 21, 2027

Join us November 17th 10am-2pm to sew the Wheelchair quilt community project together. This event is open for all at Sew Many Threads.

Bring the finished wheelchair quilts to the January 21st meeting for Show and Tell.

You have lots of options for designing the top! Use fabric from your stash, swap fabrics with a friend or share the project: you design and sew the top, your friend does the quilting and binding!

November 17th - Wheelchair Quilt Sew-Along

November 17th, 2026 10am-2pm at Sew Many Threads (Evansville, WI)

Bring your sewing tools, fabric, and machine and for the Wheelchair Quilt Community Project.

This sew-along is free. Come and go as you can!

November Guild Meeting

November 19th, 2026 at 6:30pm at Sew Many Threads (Evansville, WI)

Learn about the art of wooden quilt making and design with a special guest speaker.

This meeting is free as we are accepting membership for 2027.

This meeting will not be recorded.

December 12th Field Trip

December 12th, 2026 at 1pm at Kelch Aviaton Museum (N2463 Airport Rd, Brodhead WI 53520)

Enjoy the "Sky's the Limit" Art Quilt exhibit of 35 aviation-themed handmade quilt and textile art pieces by Misty Cole, a Sun Praire quilt artist.

We hope you can join us there!

Reminder: NO DECEMBER MEETING

The guild will not have a meeting in December. We hope you enjoy family, friends, and the holiday season.

January Guild Meeting

January 21st, 2027 at 6:30pm at Creekside Place (Evansville, WI)

This will be the first, official meeting of the Magnolia Quilt Guild. During this meeting we will have fellowship of our members, accept new members, and enjoy Show and Tell for our Wheelchair quilt community service project!
